LIVE Music Gentle Flow

Headwaters Yoga is teaming up with musician Naryan Padmanbha for an evening of LIVE music and soothing flow - the ultimate all levels yoga experience.
Naryan is an international touring fusion sitar performer whose musical career has spanned 30 years and 15 albums. He has been booked alongside Buffalo Philharmonic, The String Cheese Incident, Lotus, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and the list continues. He is widely considered the go-to sitarist of the west and continues to please audiences with his ability to create soundscapes out of deep fusion grooves, earthly beats and resonating melodies.
Naryan will blend ambient sounds creating a soundscape to transport you into another dimension. Come express yourself through a guided gentle flow and then slip into a soulful, savory restorative rest.

Headwaters and Kasey Rose are at it again! Kasey is presenting a 2 part workshop aiming to take the confusion out of lower body work while helping folks restore lost function, improve health all while getting the solutions they need.
Kasey empowers and educates her students by introducing foundational movements geared toward improving posture, alignment and strength. Additionally, she'll overview foot, leg and pelvic position and present exercises to strength and mobilize the lower body.

Yoga 108: intro to theory, breath & asana
Saturday, June 21st, 1200-430pm
Yoga 108 is an introduction to fundamental breathing techniques and postures with focus on alignment; in addition to breath & asana, we will overview theory and yoga history. The course will move slowly, allowing you to absorb the postures, while grounding yourself in the natural rhythm of your breath. With a generous selection of variations, the practices will be accessible to most. Beginners are absolutely welcome to join, as well as anyone looking to strengthen their practice.
Our intro series is a wonderful way to build a strong foundation for your practice, allowing you to develop body awareness, strength, flexibility, and confidence.
The experience is limited, early registration is strongly encouraged.
200hr Yoga Teacher Training
September ‘25 - March ‘26
Headwaters is teaming up with Vraaja Yoga to present a comprehensive, hybrid learning experience! Our 200hr RYS teacher training is the perfect blend of self-paced online learning, in person training and supportive mentorship throughout the journey. The training is Yoga Alliance certified allowing you to confidently take your education anywhere you go!
What to Expect
The first three months will be online learning, some topics include*

anatomy, physiology & energy pathways
pranayama, techniques & the effect on the body
asana, the art of sequencing
yoga business & marketing
December break - in studio study opportunities will be available
The last three months will be in person weekend trainings at the studio*
deeper practical dive into asana, sequencing & reflection through observation
application of pranayama, kriyas & meditation
teaching strategies, modifications & adjustments

About Tommy & Lori Anderson of Vraaja Yoga
Tommy and Lori Anderson have been studying and practicing yoga together for over 25 years. They’ve been sharing their love and knowledge of yoga through teacher trainings for 13 years. Tommy’s extensive study of anatomy is complemented by Lori’s knowledge of the body’s energy pathways - a complimentary convergence of modern science and ancient practices.
Tommy is the author of 4 books on the anatomy of sequencing; while, Lori is an accomplished Thai Yoga Therapist who provides certified trainings & workshops.
